Updated Case Status... Core Discovery

7/10/2009

Presently, we are conducting what is known as core discovery. The Judge in Newman, NJ has required that the parties select 12 cases from litigation the. These cases form the core discovery. The core discovery includes family, the depos of the doctors who diagnosed the ONJ and one client’s. Once the core discovery is completed—certain cases of the 12 selected cases will go to trial in March 2010. We expect to have certain settlement conferences before then but do not know at this time.

Our firm is actively involved on this litigation. Mr. Mitzner is currently conducting the depositions of the doctors and will be testifying at trial. Although many firms may say they are handling these cases, it is likely you would prefer to have as your attorney someone who is actually working on the case and preparing it for trial. Many of the firms may be soliciting your case and may be they don’t actually do the legal work—but are dependent upon us to determine the outcome of the case. And, you many want an attorney close to your home, but we help clients near and far that are much more satisfied that their attorney is actually doing the litigation, the depositions, etc. than someone who just refers the follow-up work out. We are the attorney’s with the cases that will go to trial that will determine how much compensations goes to the injured victims. We talk to our clients all over the US every week. We travel the US weekly. This is what we do. Our expertise is representing US Citizens in 50 states who have been harmed by Bisphosphonates.
